As of:

  • 2/4/15: Approved with modifications at yesterday’s LPC hearing, and is now closed. They felt that the demolition of the existing garage won’t result in a loss of fabric, and the new one will recall the materials of nearby houses. The metal decks and pergolas won’t result in damage or loss of historic features, and will only be visible from within the church garden. They did ask the applicant to work with staff to explore whether the brick of the existing garage could be salvaged or reused.
