A Greek Revival rowhouse, built in 1843. Application to raise the roof and alter the rear facade, construct rooftop additions, excavate the rear yard and front areaway, remove tin lintels and sills.

APPLICATION STATUS:

Status as of May 17th, 2011: LATEST NEWS
At the Landmarks Preservation Commission’s public hearing on May 17th, the Commission voted to approve the application with modifications. They asked that the applicant work with staff to change the material of the railing (perhaps to a wire cable) and to make the trellis  and bulkhead slightly less visible.

Status as of May 9th, 2011:
At the May 9th Community Board 2 Landmarks & Public Aesthetics Committee meeting, the applicant presented the new proposal that will be heard at the Landmarks Preservation Commission on May 17th.

Status as of May 1st, 2011:
The Landmarks Preservation Commission’s public hearing on this application has been rescheduled for May 17th. However, because the proposed designs have completely changed, the applicant will be making another presentation to the Community Board 2 Landmarks & Public Aesthetics Committee at their hearing on May 9th.

Status as of February 7th, 2011

The Landmarks Preservation Commission’s public hearing on this application, scheduled for February 8th, has again been postponed to a date TBD.

The Landmarks Preservation Commission’s public hearing on this application has been rescheduled for February 8th.

Status as of January 31st, 2011:
The Landmarks Preservation Commission’s public hearing on this application, originally scheduled for February 1st, has been postponed to  a date TDB.

Status as of January 24th, 2011:
At the public hearing held by Community Board 2’s Landmarks & Public Aesthetics Committee on January 24th, the applicant presented the proposal publicly for the first time. This application will be shown next to the Landmarks Preservation Commission on February 1st. Photos are below:
