The applicant presented the proposal to the Landmarks Preservation Commission on Tuesday, November 1st. The Commission voted to approve the application w/modifications. They asked that the applicant work with Commission staff to simplify the design of the proposed canopy and to decrease its depth.

Status as of October 24th, 2011:
The applicant presented the proposal to Community Board 2 on October 24th. See above for photos. The proposal will be shown to the Landmarks Preservation Commission on Tuesday, November 1st.

Status as of October 17th, 2011:
This application is scheduled to be shown publicly for the first time at the Community Board 2 Landmarks & Public Aesthetics Committee public hearing on Monday, October 24th, 2011, at 6:30 pm in the NYU Silver Building, 32 Waverly Place, Room 405 (as this information is subject to change, please visit the Community Board’s website for the most up-to-date information). Public attendance and testimony are welcome.
