The applicant presented the proposal to the Landmarks Preservation Commission on Tuesday, November 1st. The Commission voted to approve the application w/modifications. They asked that the applicant work with Commission staff to simplify the design of the proposed canopy and to decrease its depth.

Status as of October 24th, 2011:
The applicant presented the proposal to Community Board 2 on October 24th. See above for photos. The proposal will be shown to the Landmarks Preservation Commission on Tuesday, November 1st.

This application is scheduled to be shown publicly for the first time at the Community Board 2 Landmarks & Public Aesthetics Committee public hearing on Monday, October 24th, 2011, at 6:30 pm in the NYU Silver Building, 32 Waverly Place, Room 405 (as this information is subject to change, please visit the Community Board’s website for the most up-to-date information).
